Robert Ruocco

Robert Ruocco has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Robert currently holds the position of Chief Information Technology Officer at Triple-S, a leading managed care company in Puerto Rico. Prior to this role, they served as a Member of the CIO Professional Network™. Before that, they were the Senior Vice President and Chief Information & Security Officer at Consortium Health Plans, where they focused on national account growth efforts for Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans. From 2016 to 2021, Robert worked as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York, overseeing technology solutions and platforms. Robert started their career at Healthfirst, where they served as the COO - Information Technology and VP until 2016.

Robert Ruocco holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. Robert also has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, Strategic Management from Niagara University. In addition, Robert has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Robert has obtained various certifications, including "Developing a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Program," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," "Inclusive Leadership," "Mentoring Others," "Amazon Web Services: Analysis," "Learning Ansible," "Microservices Foundations," and "R Programming in Data Science: High Volume Data." Robert is also a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society.
