Daniel Collier

Daniel Collier, PLS, is a Professional Licensed Land Surveyor and the owner of DC Land Surveyor, providing specialized surveying services in Georgia and Tennessee. They have over 30 years of experience in land surveying and have worked with various computer-aided design technologies since starting their career in a high school internship with Rist Frost and Associates. Daniel graduated from Chattanooga State with an AAS in Civil Engineering and Construction Management, and also completed coursework in Boundary Law, Public Land Systems, and Geodesy at St. Cloud State University. Their expertise includes the use of Global Positioning Systems for boundary evidence collection and producing analytical mapping, acquired through roles with organizations such as the Tennessee Valley Authority and the US Army Corps of Engineers. Currently, Daniel serves as a Land Surveying Consultant at GRW, while continuing to expand their knowledge and skills in the field.
