Matt Bechdol is the current CEO at GRYFN. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Locye from January 2018 to January 2019. Locye is a context-aware interactions platform that lets you post content that's visible to people near your current physical location, see posts made near you, and interact with brands you're currently experiencing. Locye also offers cutting edge B2B geospatial solutions such as their Global Precision Altimeter Service which can power augmented reality platforms as well as other geospatial applications.

From September 2015 to March 2017, Matt Bechdol served as the Interim Executive Director for the Agricultural Data Coalition. The ADC’s mission is to help farmers better control and manage their electronic data and promote innovation and progress in the agricultural marketplace.

In September 2011, Matt Bechdol became the President of GeoSilos. GeoSilos is a company that manufactures and sells grain storage solutions.

From May 2010 to May 2012, Matt Bechdol participated in the Agricultural Leadership Program Class 14 through AgrIInstitute.

Matt Bechdol holds a MS in Agricultural Economics from Purdue University, an MBA in Business Administration from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, an M.S. in Geography and Cartographic Science from George Mason University, and a B.S. in Public Affairs and Environmental Science from Indiana University Bloomington. Matt also holds a Certificate in European Public Administration from Leiden University.
