Peter Stevens

Peter Stevens is currently the CEO of GS1 New Zealand, an organization dedicated to enhancing the efficiency of global supply and demand chains through innovative standards. They have extensive experience in academia, having served as an Adjunct Professor in Information Systems & Computing at UNITEC and a Senior Lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington. Peter has also held significant leadership roles at BearingPoint and Standards New Zealand, where they contributed to transforming organizations and implementing successful strategies. Active in various boards and committees, including Enable New Zealand and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council, Peter continues to impact the fields of business, health, and education. They hold a PhD in Science from The University of Auckland and have completed advanced governance training through the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
