Laurence Black, TEP, currently serves as the Regional Director of Client Solutions, EMEA at Asiaciti Trust, overseeing business development across the Middle East, Africa, Sub Continent, and European markets. With over 30 years of experience in the offshore funds, banking, insurance, and trust industry, Laurence has held significant roles including Non-Executive Director at GSB Capital Ltd and Regional Head at Standard Bank and Standard Chartered Private Bank. Laurence was also the founding Chairman of STEP Arabia and has presided over the STEP Private Client Awards for multiple years. They hold a Guernsey Trust & Company Administration Certificate and are a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
