GSD Global provides fractional country leadership for frontier tech and impact ventures expanding into Africa and Emerging Asia.

We embed a senior Country Lead in your priority markets — someone who already lives there, already knows the regulators, and whose calls get returned because they were returned before. They open markets, navigate approval pathways and build the partnerships that decide whether the work moves.

Engagements begin with a Discovery Sprint: a fixed-scope piece of work returning a documented go/no-go decision by Week 4 and a full market thesis, customer pipeline and regulatory pathway by Week 8. From there we move into modular monthly country support, scaling up when programmes land. The exit is the point — we help you hire the in-house team that replaces us.

Founded in 2021, GSD is active across 20 countries in Africa and Emerging Asia, with people in Nairobi, Delhi, Bangkok, Kigali and Abuja. We work in climate-tech and weather intelligence, health-tech and primary care, emergency response and mobility, aerospace and autonomous logistics, and research and market advisory.

Clients include Tomorrow.io, Zipline, Archer Aviation, Cloudline, JDC ImpactWell, Rescue.co, Burn Manufacturing and ILRI (CGIAR).

These markets don't reward the best product. They reward the team that showed up first.
