Alex Richards, P.G. is a skilled professional with a diverse background in geology and environmental remediation. Currently serving as a Group Fitness Instructor at The Y (YMCA) and a Senior Geologist at GSI Engineering LLC since March 2023, Alex previously held significant roles at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment between January 2017 and March 2023, including Section Chief of the Remedial Section and Unit Chief of the Site Restoration Unit. Alex's earlier experience includes academic tutoring and teaching assistant roles at the University of Alabama, as well as a geology internship at Vaquero Energy, Inc. and a research assistantship at California State University, Bakersfield. Alex holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from California State University, Bakersfield.
