Dan Ilan

Dan Ilan is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at GSI Technology since June 2016, overseeing APU software development and leading academic collaborations. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions at Marvell Semiconductor from June 2008 to June 2016, including Director of System Architecture and System Architect, where key contributions included the architecture of NAS SoCs and advanced packet processors. Dan began a career at Freescale Semiconductor from January 1999 to May 2008 as a Senior Staff Engineer, playing a crucial role in the integration of the first Freescale SoCs combining DSP, GP CPU, and network security co-processors. Dan holds an M.Sc in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a B.Sc in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
