Andrew Scott

Andrew Scott, CISSP, CCSP has extensive work experience in the field of information and cyber security. Andrew has held various leadership positions in renowned organizations across different sectors.

Most recently, Andrew worked as the Head of Information & Cyber Security at GSMA, where they led a cyber security team and implemented security practices based on the NIST framework. Prior to that, they served as a Cloud Security Architect at the Department of Work and Pensions, where they worked on a critical national infrastructure project.

Andrew also has experience as the Head of IT and Information Security at MTC, where they managed a team and spearheaded the development of a new cloud-centric IT solution. Andrew has also worked as an IT Contractor and Head of IT at LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare, where they were responsible for IT leadership and operational delivery.

Andrew Scott, CISSP, CCSP, holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from The Open University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Andrew later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics from The Open University, which they are expected to complete from 2018 to 2023. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications, including Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from ISC2 in 2023 and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2019.
