Charles Hammon

Charles Hammon is a Senior Antitrust Counsel at GSMA, a position they have held since 2025. They previously served as Antitrust Counsel at Shell from 2022 to 2025, providing support on global acquisitions, joint ventures, and competition law compliance. Before that, Charles was Interim Head of EU and Competition at NatWest Group in 2021 and Managing Legal Counsel at NatWest in the same year. Their extensive experience includes over two decades as Counsel in the EU and Competition Law Department at Ashurst, where Charles received multiple accolades for their contributions to the field. They hold a Master of Arts in Classics from the University of Oxford, completed in 1991.
