Madeleine Askham

Madeleine Askham is a seasoned policy and advocacy professional specializing in digital inclusion and gender equality. They have held key roles at organizations such as GSMA, where they currently serve as the Director of Policy & Advocacy for Digital Inclusion, and previously as a Senior Policy & Advocacy Manager focusing on Gender Equality. Before joining GSMA, they contributed to initiatives for youth political empowerment and participation at Plan International and coordinated public affairs at World Vision UK. Madeleine is presently pursuing a Master of Science in International Development: Conflict, Security and Development at The University of Birmingham while holding a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations from the University of the West of England.
