The GSTU Debating Society is the central platform for debate at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU). Founded with the vision of fostering critical thinking, articulate expression, and a spirit of healthy discourse, the society serves as a vibrant hub for students passionate about intellectual exchange and argumentation.

As the official debating organization of GSTU, the society organizes regular training sessions, intra-university tournaments, and workshops to develop the oratory and analytical skills of its members. It also represents GSTU in inter-university debate championships—both in Bengali and English—at regional and national levels.

The GSTU Debating Society is more than a stage for competition; it is a community where ideas thrive, leadership is nurtured, and voices are empowered. Open to students from all departments, the society encourages participation across disciplines and promotes dialogue on contemporary, social, and ethical issues.

With a commitment to building confident communicators and thoughtful citizens, the GSTU Debating Society plays a vital role in shaping the academic and cultural life of the university.
