Michael Gibson

Michael Gibson is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in control systems and project management, currently serving as the Executive Director and Functional Safety Engineer at GTE Group since July 2016. Previously held roles include Engineering Manager, Control Systems Manager, and Senior Engineer at LogiCamms and Gibson Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed detailed design, development, commissioning, and management of control systems. Michael contributed significantly at BHP Billiton as a Control & Electrical Project Engineer and Engineer, was involved in various optimization and safety projects, and mentored emerging engineers. Education includes a Bachelor of Engineering from The University of Western Australia and a secondary schooling accreditation from Christ Church Grammar School.
