Ray Smith is currently the VP of Gen AI BizApps at Microsoft, where they drive innovation in AI-powered business applications. Previously, they served as VP of Resilient & Sustainable Supply Chains and GM of Dynamics 365 Sales at Microsoft from 2021 to 2023. Ray co-founded and led Datahug as CEO and Chairman until its acquisition by CallidusCloud, and they held several roles at Accenture, including Manager in Management Consulting. With a strong foundation in AI research from positions at UCD DSP Research Laboratory and MIT Media Lab, Ray also holds a Master's in Digital Signal Processing and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University College Dublin.
