Alex Orda

Alex Orda has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. They started their career in 2001 as an IT Specialist at Private Joint Stock Worsted and Carded Company CHEKSIL, where they worked on server administration, workstation configuration, and network troubleshooting. From 2003 to 2006, Alex worked as a Network/System Engineer at I-Line, gaining experience in hardware integration, customer support, and cable network installation. In 2006, they joined Ingress Line as a System Administrator, where they focused on Windows administration, user support, and network setup. In 2007, Alex started working at IBM as a Virtualization Engineer, responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting VMware infrastructure and Windows Servers. They also managed backups, disaster recovery, and participated in various projects. In 2015, Alex joined Interoute as a Senior VMware Engineer, where they provided support, design, and infrastructure management for VMware environments. Finally, in 2018, Alex started working at GTT as a Principal Cloud Engineer, focusing on cloud engineering.

Alex Orda has a Specialist degree in IT Engineering from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, obtained in the years 2002-2003. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Information and Computer Systems from the same university between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, Alex has obtained various certifications from VMware and EXIN, including VMware Certified Professional in Network Virtualization (VCP6-NV) and Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV), VMware Certified Advanced Professional in Data Center Design (VCAP5-DCD), and ITIL Foundation v3 certification. They also hold a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification in Security on Windows Server 2003.
