James Karimi

James Karimi is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in network engineering and operations. Currently serving as CIO and CISO at GTT Communications since October 2014, James oversees the architecture and engineering of the company's global network and systems platforms. Previously, as Executive Vice President and CTO at UNSi from February 2012 to September 2014, James directed the network engineering team responsible for expanding UNSi's nationwide network. James also founded IPNetZone Communications Inc., where as Chief Technology Officer, responsibilities included overseeing network expansion and application development. Additional roles include Chief Technology Officer at PressONE, where an MPLS strategy was implemented for VOIP services, and Network Engineer at Orange, focusing on customer network design and management.
