Richard Vidil

Richard Vidil has a strong background in sales engineering and pre-sales engineering. Richard started their career at AT&T Bell Labs in 1988 as a Member of Technical Staff. Richard then joined Lucent Technologies in 1996 as a DMTS, Technical Manager, and eventually became a Department Head/Director. In 2000, they moved to uReach Technologies where they served as the SVP Engineering and Operations, making significant contributions to the company's technical strategy and sales engineering. From 2006 to 2008, Richard worked at 3Com as a Sr. Director, Voice Development, overseeing the VoIP voice business and managing a large team. Richard returned to uReach Technologies in 2008 as the SVP, Solutions Engineering, responsible for building and managing the product and operations organizations. In 2014, Richard joined CenturyLink Business as the Director, Pre-Sales Engineering, Systems Integrator Alliance. Richard later became the Area Vice President, Pre-Sales Engineering, Wholesale & Alliances. Their most recent position is at GTT, where they are currently serving as the Vice President, Sales Engineering, Americas.

Richard Vidil earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University from 1984 to 1988. Richard then pursued a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 1989 to 1990.
