Wayne Kierans

Wayne Kierans is an experienced Network Engineer currently managing submarine and terrestrial DWDM network infrastructure for GTT since April 2013, as part of the Optical Engineering team. Previously, Wayne held various positions at GAA, including Louth Senior Team Manager and Louth Minor Manager, and worked at eircom from March 2006 to March 2013 as an Optical Design Engineer and SDH Engineer, overseeing project management, system design, and infrastructure maintenance. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Commissioning Engineer at Ciena, where significant optical networking deployments were executed across Europe and Japan. Wayne holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science from Ulster University.
