Michael Henning is an experienced professional with a diverse background in both technology consulting and the mortgage lending industry. Starting as a Busperson at Sakura Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Lounge in 2013, Michael advanced to roles such as Server and Cook in the hospitality sector before transitioning to technology with positions at Sogeti from 2016 to 2018. In the mortgage field, Michael served as Senior Loan Officer at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC and Homeside Financial, and most recently as a Senior Loan Officer at UMortgage. Throughout the career, Michael has developed a strong skill set in customer service, team collaboration, and project leadership, particularly in loan advising and technology implementation. Currently, Michael holds the position of VP of Mortgage Lending at Rate since October 2025.
