Head of Security Data Analytics at Guardio

Efrat Tabibi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Efrat started their career in 2010 as an Intelligence Analyst & Course Commander in Unit 8200 - Israeli Intelligence Corps. After that, they worked at Cool Mirage as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where they conducted automatic and manual QA testing for the company's products. During their time at Cool Mirage, they also communicated with foreign customers and created reports for various projects.

In 2016, Efrat joined Weekin as an SQL Developer. Efrat'sresponsibilities included providing customer support and needs assessment, creating SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers, and building and maintaining computer databases.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked at IBM as a Fraud Data Analyst. In this role, Efrat analyzed online fraud patterns, particularly online banking fraud. Efrat incorporated analysis results into a cloud-based fraud detection product and conducted research on various eFraud methods and techniques in the financial industry.

Since 2020, Efrat has been working at Guardio. Efrat started as a Security Lead, where they conducted exploratory and in-depth research into malicious operations, leveraging machine learning and advanced data analysis. Efrat also owned Guardio's core detection engine's top-level security KPIs and pushed the engine's capabilities from ideation to deployment and monitoring, impacting over 1 million devices in real-time. Efrat recently transitioned into the role of Head of Security Data Analytics at Guardio.

Efrat Tabibi attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2014 to 2018, where they studied Industrial Engineering. Additionally, in August 2021, Efrat obtained a certification in "Doing Data Science With Python" from Pluralsight.
