Tomer Amdur

Tomer Amdur has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. Tomer started their career in 2016 as a Software Maintenance Student at Eltel Technologistics LTD., where they operated internal networks and managed permissions. Tomer then moved on to Elbit Systems Ltd. as a Student Software Developer in 2017, where they gained experience in developing software.

In 2018, Tomer joined Microsoft as a Student Software Engineer, during which they worked on various software engineering projects. Tomer later transitioned into the role of a Software Engineer at Microsoft and continued their work until 2021.

Tomer then joined Amazon in 2021 as a Software Development Engineer. In this role, they worked on the Alexa Shopping - Reorder team, where they focused on proactive predictions and recommendation generation for Alexa users. Tomer played a key role in building an automated solution for defining and creating cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK.

Currently, Tomer is a Senior Backend Developer at Guardio, a position they started in 2023.

Tomer Amdur began their education at Bar-Ilan University in 2004, where they studied Mathematics at the 'Israel Center for the Advancement of Mathematics Sciences' until 2007. Tomer then attended Ami Asaf High School in Beit Berl from 2006 to 2009, where they focused on Computer Science and Physics. In 2014, they enrolled at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Software Engineering in 2018.
