Philippe Guislain's work experience begins in 1997 when they worked as a Software Engineer and Technical pre-sales at Lesire Software Engineering N.V. philippe continued in the software industry, joining KLA-Tencor in 2004 as a Software Manager, Program Manager, and eventually R&D Manager until 2014. In 2015, they joined Luciad as a Technical Account Manager, where they focused on business development, post-sales support, project management, and GIS software. In 2017, they moved to KLA as a Software Engineering Manager until 2019. Currently, they work at Guardsquare as a Product Manager, responsible for product development and defining long-term strategic visions based on market insights and customer and competitive information.

Philippe Guislain obtained their first Master's degree in Physics from KU Leuven, specializing in the field of study from 1989 to 1996. Following this, they pursued another Master's degree in Informatics at KU Leuven, which they completed from 1996 to 1997.
