Alon Lavi

Alon Lavi has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alon is currently the Co-Founder & CTO of Guardz, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, Alon worked at Argus Cyber Security Ltd. from 2014 to 2021, where they held multiple roles including Backend Lead Architect, Backend Team Leader, and Software Developer. Alon'smain responsibilities at Argus involved researching and developing cyber security solutions for the automotive industry.

Before joining Argus, Alon worked at VMware, vRealize Business as a Software Developer from 2013 to 2014. During this time, they worked on developing VMware's IT financial management solution for the cloud era, utilizing various cutting-edge technologies.

Alon also has experience in sales and marketing, having served as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Shhakim Technologies Rav Hevel Ltd from 2010 to 2013.

At the beginning of their career, Alon served in the Israel Defense Forces, Artillery Corps as a Staff Sergeant and Squad Leader from 2007 to 2010.

Alon Lavi completed an exchange program in 2012 at the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied Computer Science and Business Administration. In 2011, they enrolled at Reichman University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science in 2014. Additionally, Alon Lavi received certifications in "Principles of Reactive Programming" and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in May 2015 and November 2013, respectively.
