Sid Balu is a student at Georgetown University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Theology, expected to graduate in 2026. They are currently involved with The Hilltop Microfinance Initiative as a member of the marketing team, dedicated to providing financial empowerment services through a non-profit organization. Sid has held various internships, including a strategy and business development role at Zulu Transfer and positions at Audax Private Equity as a summer analyst. Additionally, they founded Peer Enrichment Tutoring to offer affordable tutoring services to underprivileged students in the Greater Boston area. In 2021, Sid was selected as a scholar at the LEAD Summer Business Institute, winning an entrepreneurship pitch challenge among a competitive group of over 100 participants.
