Markus Roupé

Markus Roupé is a Principal Scientist in the Department of Drug Discovery and Innovation at Gubra. With over 10 years of leadership experience in innovation, drug discovery, and protein-protein interaction, Markus has developed expertise in managing scientific projects through discovery and pre-clinical phases. Previously, they served as Director of Biology at Hansa Biopharma, leading a diverse team in advancing drug development for severe IgG-driven diseases. Markus holds a Ph.D. in Epidermal Reactions to Injury from Lund University, where their research contributed significantly to understanding innate immune responses. They consistently emphasize the importance of teamwork and the sharing of knowledge within their field.
