Darren Scheller

Director of IT at Guernsey

Darren Scheller has been working in the field of IT for over twenty years. Darren started their career as a civil drafting technician and survey party chief before moving into the role of corporate A&E BIM Manager with The Benham Companies, LLC. In this role, Darren was responsible for managing the Bentley MicroStation BIM Suite of tools and Autodesk Revit suite of tools, as well as researching and implementing new BIM modeling tools and engineering software. Darren also documented process and procedures for exchanging data between software packages.

In 2009, Darren left The Benham Companies to become the Director of Information Technology at Frankfurt-Short-Bruza Associates, P.C., where they served for twelve years. During their time at Frankfurt-Short-Bruza, Darren oversaw all aspects of the IT department, including hardware and software procurement and support, network administration, and user training.

In September 2021, Darren became the Director of IT at Guernsey, where they are responsible for leading the IT team in providing reliable and secure technology solutions that support the company’s business objectives.

Darren Scheller's educational background is in science and math, which they studied at Yukon High School. Darren has also received certification from Bentley Systems in BIM Managers Workshop and from Autodesk in both AutoCAD 2014 and Revit Architecture 2014.
