Barry Blount

Barry Blount has worked in the RF industry since 1991. Barry began their career at Panasonic/MCC as an Assistant Manager of Cellular Design. In 1994, they moved to RF Micro Devices as the Director of Broadband Products Line. In 2001, they joined Microtune as the Director of Marketing. In 2003, they became the Director of Sales and Marketing at Colorado Microcircuits, Inc. Following this, they were the Director of Business Development, North America at GreenPeak Technologies from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they joined TriQuint Semiconductor as a Product Marketing Manager. In 2012, they became the Applications Engineering Manager at Wispry. In 2013, they moved to RFMD (now Qorvo, Inc.) as a Principal Engineer. From 2015 to 2021, they were the Senior Manager of Applications Engineering at Qorvo, Inc. and then the Senior Director of RF Applications Engineering and Principal Engineer at Guerrilla RF.

Barry Blount attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
