Fred Adkins

Vice President of Operations at Guerrilla RF

Fred Adkins has over 40 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Fred began their career in 1980 as a Cooperative Education Student in Electrical Engineering at GE. In 1983, they joined Analog Devices as a Quality Engineer, where they planned, implemented, and supervised final electrical audit testing for all products. Fred then joined Comlinear Corporation in 1985 as a Quality Engineer and was later promoted to Quality/Product Assurance Manager and Quality Engineering and Product Test Engineering Manager. In 1993, Fred joined RFMD as a Senior Manager Test Operations and was later promoted to Director of Test Operations and Director, Commodities and Sourcing. In 2014, Fred co-founded AIME Consulting and also took on the role of Vice President of Operations at Guerrilla RF. At Guerrilla RF, they worked to enable universal wireless data access across the globe. Fred has extensive experience in product development, supply chain optimization, test engineering, and quality assurance.

Fred Adkins obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech between 1978 and 1983. In October 1983, they obtained an EIT certification from the Commonwealth of Virginia, State Board of Engineers and Architects. Later, from 1999 to 2000, they completed the Program for Management Development in Business Administration, Management and Operations at UNCG, Bryan School of Business.
