Emily Wang

Emily Wang has a strong background in technical design, with over 20 years of experience in the fashion industry. Emily most recently worked as the Associate Director of Technical Design at GUESS?, Inc. from April 2019 till present. Prior to that, they held the position of Technical Design Manager at the same company from October 2017 to April 2019. Before joining GUESS?, Inc., Emily worked as a Senior Technical Designer at Torrid from June 2015 to 2017. Emily also held similar roles at Guess? from 2011 to 2015, Roger Garments-Stoosh from 2007 to 2011, and Jones New York-L.E.I from 2006 to 2007. Emily started their career as a Denim Patternmaker/Technical Designer at Jean Mart from 2004 to 2006. Prior to entering the fashion industry, they worked as a Software Engineer at North Communications from 2002 to 2003, a Web Developer at Magnet Interactive in 2001, and a Web Developer at Kickmedia from 2000 to 2001.

Emily Wang attended Gretchen Whitney High School. Emily then went on to LA Trade Tech, followed by UCLA where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
