Doug Appleton

Doug Appleton is an experienced attorney and executive with a demonstrated history in various sectors including hospitality, health technology, and sports. Currently serving as General Partner and COO at Guesthouse Tahoe since January 2025, Appleton oversees luxury accommodations in the Lake Tahoe region. As Fractional General Counsel at Douglas S. Appleton, Esq. since January 2022, services are provided to start-up and mid-sized companies. Previous roles include General Counsel at HALO Diagnostics, General Counsel and SVP Business Development at NeuroSync, and Co-Founder and CEO of SNYPR, Inc. Additionally, Appleton has held various executive legal positions at companies such as Shutterfly, Easton-Bell Sports, and Marketwatch. Appleton holds a BA from Brown University and a JD from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
