Samantha Burd

Samantha Burd has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011. Samantha started as a Merchandise Marketing Captain for Penn State Dance Marathon, then moved to Results Radio, WBHV-FM, where they held multiple roles over the course of a year, including Co-host of "Late Nights with Sami & E on the B", Morning Show Producer, and Programming Intern. In 2012, they were a Marketing & Communications Intern for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania. From 2013 to 2016, they worked for Townsquare Media as a Promotions Coordinator and Promotions Assistant. During this time, they also held a role as Content Manager for Morazi. In 2016, they worked for Joy Records as an Assistant Project Manager, where they managed and optimized social media pages, supervised and coordinated training efforts of interns, and provided high-level executive support. From 2018 to 2019, they were the Owner + Content Creator for Very Nearly Disastrous. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Project Manager for Comtecgroup events. Currently, they are an Event Marketing Manager for Guesty.

Samantha Burd attended Penn State University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Broadcast Journalism.
