James is a Mechanical Engineer and self-employed business consultant (Disability Services Auditor). He joined the Board in 2011. James is a client, an experienced Guide Dog user and an advocate for those who are blind or vision impaired. He was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in 2017 for services to the blind and low vision community. He also sits on several Advisory Committees with the National Disability Services covering Open Employment and Australian Disability Enterprises. James is a member of the Corporate Governance Sub-committee.
