Alex McElroy

Alex McElroy has over 30 years of experience in risk management and finance, currently serving as Director of ERM Solutions at Guidehouse since October 2020, after holding the position of Associate Director in the same department. Prior experience includes significant roles at PenFed Credit Union, where Alex was Vice President and Director of Enterprise Risk Management, and Grant Thornton LLP as Senior Manager. Additionally, Alex worked at Deloitte & Touche in various managerial capacities and started a career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Consultant. Early professional experience includes a position as Financial Journalist at the Bureau of National Affairs and Government Relations Assistant at Newmont Mining Corporation. Alex holds an MBA in Finance from George Mason University's Costello College of Business and a BA in Diplomacy & Foreign Affairs from Miami University.
