Alexis Brown

Alexis Brown, PhD, PMP, currently serves as a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse since May 2022, following a role as a Life Sciences Strategy, Policy, and Operations Expert at Booz Allen Hamilton from September 2018 to May 2022. In the latter position, Alexis led the development and sustenance of the FDA's Environmental, Occupational, Safety and Health Training Program, creating over 20 electronic learning courses and utilizing data analytics to enhance program performance. Alexis completed a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where dissertation research focused on the impact of concentrated animal feeding operations on the nasal microbiome of workers and their families. A series of research internships at institutions such as the FDA, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and the University of Colorado Boulder contributed to a strong foundation in environmental research. Alexis earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
