Amanda Owen serves as a Director in the Cybersecurity & Compliance team at Guidehouse since June 2021, focusing on risk, compliance, data analytics, and strategy challenges for leading energy companies. Previously, Amanda held various roles at American Electric Power from April 2014 to June 2021, including Associate Director and Transformation Manager, where responsibilities ranged from data analytics support for regulatory case management to leading engagement strategies for organizational change. Additionally, Amanda worked as Innovation & Technology Manager and NERC Compliance Manager, managing compliance initiatives and fostering stakeholder engagement. Prior to AEP, Amanda gained legal experience as an Attorney at ReliabilityFirst Corporation and in roles at the Ohio Attorney General's Office and the Ohio Environmental Council. Amanda holds a law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs from Miami University.
