Bas Ven

Bas Ven is an experienced Technical Lead with a notable career spanning several companies in the technology sector. Presently, at Guidehouse since August 2020, Bas has played a key role in developing a Proof of Concept reporting tool aimed at replacing Tableau. Previously, at Ace Info Solutions LLC, Bas led a team responsible for rewriting the FEMA NFIP application using Spring Boot, following successful delivery of the GSA Conexus program. Bas also served as Technical Lead at Heartland Technology Group, focusing on modernizing development practices, and held positions at CA Technologies and Electric Cloud as a Principal Software Engineer, enhancing various products in the software development lifecycle. Earlier roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise involved leading initiatives on performance management and adopting open-source frameworks. Bas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University, with foundational education in the Netherlands and prior military service.
