Cris Waters

Cris Waters, RHIA, CCS, is the Vice President of Operations at Guidehouse Managed Services, where they have leveraged their 20 years of experience in Health Information Management, Clinical Denials, and Utilization Management. Since 2002, Cris has served as the Director of Coding Operations and Clinical Appeals at Guidehouse, overseeing a team of over 100 remote coders and RNs while implementing comprehensive coding services. Prior to this, they held positions as a DRG Coding Specialist at Sparks Health System and as a Coding Manager at Northwest Health System. Cris earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Arkansas Tech University in 1997.
