Fernando Medina

Fernando Medina is a Senior Consultant at Guidehouse since May 2022, with prior experience as a consultant. From July 2020 to August 2023, Fernando served as Co-founder and Head of Student and Public Engagement at Connect Tutors, an organization that provides free college application essay support to working-class students. As a Research Assistant in K-12 Education at MDRC from July 2019 to April 2022, Fernando analyzed qualitative data to offer recommendations to education stakeholders. Earlier roles include a Policy Research Intern at MDRC, Engagement Director for the Brown Progressive Action Committee, a Congressional Intern for Congressman Joseph Crowley, and a Development Research Intern at FoodCorps. Fernando earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Brown University and completed education at Riverdale Country School.
