Ian Trim

Ian Trim serves as a Director at Guidehouse, leading the Global Energy Sustainability and Infrastructure consulting practice with a focus on developing decarbonisation service offerings for diverse corporate and public sector clients. Ian's experience includes roles as a PhD Researcher at The Global Sustainability Institute, where research centers on integrating natural capital into corporate decision-making, and as Associate Director at Ecofys. Prior positions include leading the UK’s strategy on global carbon markets at the Department of Energy and Climate Change and serving as the Head of Climate Change and Low Carbon at the British Embassy in Moscow. Ian has a PhD in Biodiversity and Business from Anglia Ruskin University, an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, and a Bachelor's degree in European Business from KEDGE Business School.
