Katherine B.

Katherine B. serves as a Communities, Energy and Infrastructure Consultant at Guidehouse since March 2024. Prior roles include Graduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University, where Katherine worked on a project focused on residential demand response controls, and Home Automation and Controls Lead for the Northeastern University Solar Decathlon. Katherine has a background in various engineering and sustainability projects, including developing a MATLAB model for PV solar systems at Valparaiso University and conducting a micro-grid feasibility study as a Smart Grid Emerging Technology Intern at ComEd. Katherine holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Building Systems from Northeastern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Valparaiso University, with minors in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics.
