Menolin Sharma

Menolin Sharma is a Biomedical Informatics Data Specialist at Medical Science & Computing, with experience since May 2022. Prior roles include a Bioinformatics co-op at EMD Serono, Inc., where analysis and visualization of NGS datasets for Triple Negative Breast Cancer clinical trials were conducted, along with statistical analysis of genomic variants and coding in R. Menolin served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Delaware, focusing on microbial genome assembly, software development for genome correction in Python, database creation with PostgreSQL, and analysis of marine metagenomic samples. Earlier experience includes work as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Kathmandu University, where vinegar production feasibility was evaluated, and as an intern at various institutions, including the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology and the National Tuberculosis Center, performing disease diagnostics and implementation of conservation techniques.
