Steven McKinnon

Steven McKinnon has extensive experience in telecommunications and cybersecurity, holding various roles across prominent organizations. At Booz Allen Hamilton, Steven led defense critical infrastructure protection analyses essential to Department of Defense missions and provided engineering support to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Steven also worked at Verizon Communications as a Network Engineer/Planner, managing network capacity and engineering responsibilities for numerous central offices. Following a tenure at the FCC as an Electronics Engineer, Steven advanced to Guidehouse as an Associate Director, overseeing federal High Value Asset programs and advising on cybersecurity risk management. In previous positions, Steven led teams at Lafayette Group and served as a Managing Consultant at Guidehouse, focusing on assessments and penetration testing. Early career experience includes contributions to wireless network troubleshooting and IP data network deployment at Nextel. Steven holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
