Susan B. Smith

Susan B. Smith, RN, PhD, NE-BC, is an experienced healthcare leader currently serving as Associate Director at Guidehouse since September 2019, where support is provided to C-suite executives in the Value Transformation division following the acquisition of Navigant. Previously, Susan held several pivotal roles including Director of Outcomes at Inova Health System, where strategies for value-driven care were developed for a network of over 2000 providers, and Regional Director of Quality and Population Health at Privia Medical Group, managing care for 200,000 attributed patient lives. At Fairfax Family Practice Centers, leadership was demonstrated in achieving NCQA PCMH Level III designation across multiple practices. Earlier career roles at Fauquier Health focused on staff competency and performance improvement, while initial experiences at Inova Health System included directorship in Cardiology and Accreditation. Susan earned a PhD in Nursing from George Mason University College of Public Health.
