Cole Apke

Cole Apke has diverse experience in cybersecurity and customer service roles. As a Cloud Security Intern at Align Technology, Cole utilized AWS and CSPM tools for threat detection and alerts to the SOC team. Prior experience includes working as a Peer Tutor at High Point University, assisting students with introductory course content, and as an Application Development Intern with the United States Department of Defense, developing a Python application to enhance security and efficiency. Additional roles include delivery driver at Home City Ice and crew member positions at McDonald's and The Wendy's Company, focusing on customer assistance and transaction handling. Cole has also served as a Seasonal Print and Marketing Associate at Staples, gaining experience in printing and document design. Currently, Cole serves as an Associate Security Engineer at GuidePoint Security, building upon a strong educational foundation from High Point University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a focus on cybersecurity.
