David Batty

David Batty is a seasoned cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Strategic Cybersecurity Advisor at GuidePoint Security since August 2025, while also contributing as an Advisory Board Member for HMG Strategy. Before this, David held the position of VP of Solution Architecture & Technology at iboss and worked as a Principal Systems Engineer and Technical Director at Trellix, where significant contributions were made to global systems engineering initiatives. With extensive experience at FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, and BNSF Railway, David has established a reputation as a trusted security advisor and leader in enterprise security, project management, and network engineering.
