David Cardwell is a seasoned security professional with over thirteen years of experience in the information security field. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at GuidePoint Security since 2021, David collaborates with Account Managers to align technology solutions with clients' business needs while overseeing the entire security technologies lifecycle. Previously, David held the position of Client Solutions Architect at Optiv Inc from January 2015 to July 2021, focusing on tailored information security solutions. David's career began at FishNet Security from 2005 to 2015 in various roles, including Sales Engineer and Security Consultant. Early experience includes a summer internship as a Network Administrator at Sedalia School District #200 in 2002. David possesses a BS in Information Technology from the University of Central Missouri and an AAS in Information Technology from Linn State Technical College.
