Denny Dean

Denny Dean is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Principal Security Consultant at GuidePoint Security since April 2022, Denny provides cybersecurity leadership and transformation services. As the Founder and Interim Executive of Cyber Trust Labs, LLC since 2015, Denny aids in the development of cybersecurity capabilities aligned with business goals. Additional roles include advising on the CSA Cloud Controls Matrix at Cloud Security Alliance and directing the Defense Data Security Program at Stanley Black & Decker. Denny's earlier positions include serving as CISO at Lifespan and Global Information Security Officer at The Hanover Insurance Group, where oversight of comprehensive information assurance strategies was a key responsibility. Education was completed at The University of Texas at San Antonio.
