Denny Rowlands

Denny Rowlands is an experienced security professional currently serving as a Senior Security Solutions Architect at GuidePoint Security since October 2025. Prior to this role, Denny held the position of Senior Security Solutions Architect at Defy Security from February 2023 to October 2025 and worked at Tanium from July 2019 to February 2023 in various director-level roles focused on technical solutions and account management. Denny’s earlier experience includes co-presidency at the Cloud Security Alliance in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, along with roles as a Security Solutions Architect at Fishtech Group, Ideal Integrations, Optiv, and Forsythe Technology. Denny began a career in IT security as Director of IT Security at E-Safe Technologies and as a Security Analyst at the CERT Division of the Software Engineering Institute. Denny holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
