Drew Schmitt is an experienced malware intelligence analyst, incident responder, and adjunct professor, with a demonstrated history of working across various industries including consulting, med-tech, and healthcare. Drew has held multiple roles in cybersecurity, most recently as the Practice Lead for the GuidePoint Research and Intelligence Team, and has a strong background in threat hunting and incident response, exemplified during time with organizations like Medtronic and Newell Brands. Additionally, Drew served as an adjunct professor at Metropolitan State University, teaching courses related to cybersecurity. Drew holds a Master's of Science in Security Technologies and Cyber Security from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Chemistry, and Political Science from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
