Gordon Merrill

Gordon Merrill is a CyberSecurity leader, mentor, educator, innovator, and strategist with extensive experience in information security, risk management, and project management. They founded and served as a CISO SME Consultant at Independence Development Association from 2008 to 2020, where they reviewed and enhanced information assurance practices for various clients. Gordon also held roles with Erlanger Medical Center and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, focusing on compliance and cyber security engineering. They are currently a Cyber Security Consultant/Engineer at GuidePoint Security and pursue degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science while holding a Master's in Information Assurance from Norwich University.
